Six Fragments

This is a student performance at the University of Utah. The six pieces were divided among three pianists: Josh Wright (1, 4), Ruby Chou (2, 6), and Dylan Bean (3, 5).

Snapshots

This is a set of character pieces that provides a short description of my former colleagues in Composers in Red Sneakers: Herman Weiss, Christopher Stowens, Roger Bourland, Thomas Oboe Lee, Richard Cornell and Robert Aldridge. In some snapshots, I attempted to write in the style of the composer. In others, I used some of the composer’s material and treated it differently than they had. This performance is by Herman Weiss and was given in Sanders Theater at Harvard University. It dates from about 1985.
