Composed for Tricinium and Brandeis University, and premiered by Diane Heffner and Peter Sykes.. Published by Dorn for several years, but rights recently reacquired by the composer. in many ways, these piece marks my farewell to tonality. I had a number of British composers in mind while writing this: Britten, Walton, etc..

1 -Expands out of a fragmentary unison passage and eventually reveals a theme which is more fully treated in the second movement.
2 - A gentle movement with inspiration from Midsummer Night’s Dream.
3-A kinetic ending that features commentary between the instruments.
