This piece was commissioned by Marimolin (Marimbist  Nancy Zeltsman and violinist  Sharan Leventhal) in the late 1980s. It had a single public performance, which was quite nerve-wracking due to the primitive technology we had onstage. There is a rehearsal recording of this piece, but I’ve removed it from the site. Many critical materials have been lost, so it’s unlikely to reappear in any form.
